Ashanti Region New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates favourite and Constituency Chairman for Afigya Kwabre South, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, who has been tipped to succeed Chairman Wontumi as the regional chairman has inspired confidence that he sees victory this year- 2022.
On his WhatsApp Status on 1st January this years, Chairman Odeneho, as the man whose name alone sends shivers down Wontumi’s spine is fondly referred to, wrote, “I see victory ahead of you so receive your portion the name of Jesus. God is the only holy hope. When I look at the great and rich people who have passed away with all their affluence, influence, Connections and power and I still have life, it makes me humble. It will not be bad to join me to sing “What Shall I say unto the Lord”, Coka Family, friends and loved ones will see 2022.
Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, Ashanti regional delegates say, has gone through the mill, and is ready to serve at the regional level. He has been hailed as a visionary leader very innovative and knows the grassroot. He is the only one to break the eight record, because he is united, dedicated and very selfless.
Oheneho Kwaku Appiah has served as a polling station executive and government appointee at the Bekwai District Assembly (KMA).
He also served as the regional financial secretary during F.F Anto’s chairmanship and currently the Constituency Chairman in Afigya Kwabre South constituency of the Ashanti Region.
He was retained when members of the association of Chairmen met to elect new executives to steer the affairs of the association in February 2021. He is said to hold other positions in the party.
Already, Kwaku Appiah has received several endorsements from key grassroot members, party executives and members of parliament in the region.
Several delegates have reportedly suggested that he deserves to lead the party in the region, taking into account his major contributions to NPP’s electoral fortunes in his constituency and region under his leadership as chairman.
