Chief of Staff to the Nungua Stool, Frank Kofi Lewi, has given oxygen to the installation of the two new ‘wulomei’, (traditional priest) in Nungua with the strongest assurance that he is ready to support and work with them in ensuring that the traditional area redeems its waning image.
He, however urged those he described as fake wulomei to be careful and that very soon the law, which is no respecter of person, would catch up with and by then there would be no strings to pull to save anyone.
Nuumo Oyekoohe (Otukwantsen Wulomo and Nuumo Afotey KojoKweledinn(Amuamu Wulomo have been install in the Nungua traditional area in the midst of a feud between the two giants of the area- King Nii Odaifio Welentsi and the chief priest of the area.
Mr Lewis is further encouraging all who want to transact any business with the traditional council to use the administrative process and reach out to the appropriate authorities and not deal any by-standers and passers-bye.
The chief of staff pledged his allegiance to King Nii Odaifio Welentsi and the newly-installed wulomei, saying that Nungua is “my home, being the chief of staff, I work with all the traditional leaders and ensure that administratively the stool is protected.”
