Jerry Ahmed Shaib, NPP Member of Parliament b(MP) for Weija-Gbawe, has been accused of unlawfully taking over a parcel of land at Tse Addo, sparking controversy and a potential legal battle.
The dispute, currently under investigation by the Proper Frauds Unit of the Ghana Police Service, involves allegations of trespassing and intimidation.
According to sources, the rightful owner of the land has lodged a complaint before the Property Frauds Unit of the Ghana Police Service, claiming that Shaib is using landguards to harass and threaten them.
However, the complainant, frustrated by the alleged encroachment and acts of intimidation, has vowed to pursue legal action if the matter is not resolved.
The case has raised concerns about increasing land disputes in Accra, particularly in fast-developing areas like Tse Addo.
