The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (NEIP), Lawyer John Ampontuah Kumah, has received a Doctorate in Business Innovation from Swiss Business School in Switzerland.
He also received two Degrees including a Masters in Applied Research and Doctoral Certificate.
The Doctorate Degree was awarded him last Saturday, November 21, 2020 during a graduation ceremony that took place on their Ghana campus.
His thesis was on the topic “Factors That Affect Product/Service Innovation Among SMEs In Ghana.”
Lawyer John Ampontuah Kumah successfully defended his thesis which was the last degree requirement for his doctorate.
His research subject area in organizational leadership, “Factors That Affect Product/Service Innovation Among SMEs In Ghana,” examined the innovation types that impact the different aspects of small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs’) performance in emerging economies, developing a holistic conceptual model to examine how innovation types impact the various dimensions of SMEs’ performance in the Ghana.
When asked about the accomplishment, Lawyer John Kumah averred that the achievement was an anticlimactic finish.
“After working on something for so long, there is a point where you just want to be done! I am at that point. Nonetheless, a number of interesting observations were made,” he said.
Lawyer John Kumah also congratulated all his colleagues and appreciated their lecturers and supervisors who guided him in the journey.
He also thanked his seniors and mentors for sharing their knowledge and experience and for supporting him to be successful.
The Swiss Business School in Switzerland is a Nobel International school.
