The Public Relations Coordinating Division (PRCD) of Information Services Department (ISD) has held its 2nd Public Relations Review Meeting and Awards Ceremony to honour the hard work and dedication of some PROs who have excelled in their various ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
Out of the six nominees selected from the ministries of Health, Communication and Digitization, Trade and Industry, Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Lands and Natural Resources, and the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Mr. Abraham Otabel of Lands and Natural Resources was adjudged the Overall Best PRO of the year.
Ms. Karimatu Anas of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development was named the First Runner Up, and Ms. Naa Korkoi Essah of Communication and Digitization, similarly received the Second Runner Up award. Likewise, Ms. Nana Ama Bonnah of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development was crowned the Best Assistant PRO of the year.
It is worth noting that the ‘KON PR Excellence Awards’ were instituted by the Information Minister, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah to acknowledge hard working PROs who have aided in the dissemination of government information.
