The former Member of Parliament for Suhum, Frederick Opare Ansah, has revealed that Kennedy Agyapong confided in him that he (Kennedy Agyapong) was given a contract to go after Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Speaking in an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on the weekly face to face personality driven discussion Citi TV, recently, Honorable Opare Ansah said “Kennedy it was who told me in the house of the man I said I am protecting his identity that he was given contract to go after Anas and that now he has finished the job the Minister of Finance is not paying him. This was in September 2022 and that if the finance Minister doesn’t pay him he has a video of a minister of state taking bribes in Dubai, he would release it”, he told Umaru Sanda Amadu.
“He told me. Me, I am not in government ‘ooo’; you know the funny thing , all this while nobody knew I would ever support Dr Bawumia and they know me and Akufo Addo we don’t pass here to meet her so people tell me things without fear knowing that I would never tell anybody about it”. Opare Ansah stated.
“He (Kennedy Agyapong) told me that he was given contract and now the Minister of Finance doesn’t want to pay his bills and that if he doesn’t, he would release a video of a minister of state in Dubai taking bribes. It’s all personal interest. It was only two months before the Charles Adu Boahen video came out and then I was like ooo this guy really knew what he was talking about. As for me I am a small fry I am not on a government board I am not a minister of state, I don’t dabble in government business I don’t take government contract. He is the one and if he wants I will bring a list of all his contract, the Energy Ministry, the Education Ministry; TVET, his jobs at GHAPOHA, all of it, Cocobod, if he wants it we play,” he added .
