The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, who is hell bent on soiling the hard earned reputation of internationally acclaimed undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ is at it again.
This time, without any shred of evidence, Assin Fosu Commando, as the MP has been christened by many a Facebook user, has reportedly alleged, rather outrageously, that Anas had a hand in the dastardly murder of the late Abuakwa MP, J.B Danquah.
Read Kennedy Agyapong: “I learnt someone has said on your programme (Focal Sports) that I don’t deserve to bear the title honourable because I accused Anas of having an affair with the late J.B. Danquah’s wife. If the journalist dares me, I will even say Anas is responsible for J.B. Danquah’s death,”
He continued that: “I will cause his arrest. They should arrest him and I will ask the widow that when her husband died, how many days did it take her before relocating to Anas’ apartment? You don’t know the information I have, nobody should push me, I’m going step by step,”
According to Kennedy Agyapong, reportedly, on Kumasi-based Fox FM, his claim stems from concrete information he had gathered regarding Anas and Ivy Heward-Mills (the late J.B. Danquah’s widow).
The Assin Central MP has been on a mission to destroy Anas over his ‘Number 12’ exposé, excerpts of which have led to the arrest of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kwesi Nyantakyi peddling influence with President Nana Akufo-Addo’s name.
Meanwhile, our Editor-In-Chief, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has revealed the relationship between, Anas Aremeyaw Anas and the wife of the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North, J.B. Danquah-Adu.
According to Baako, Anas and Ivy, as the late MP’s widow is known, were just classmates and had not been in any inappropriate relationship.
Recall that J.B. Danquah-Adu was murdered on February 9, 2016, by some armed people who made their way into his room in his Shiashie residence in Accra. Daniel Asiedu, 19, was immediately arrested in connection with the murder has been on trial from that time.
