The Zongo chief of Lafa, Sarkin Hausa, has donated some items to the Odorkor district police command.
The donation, consisting of one air conditioner, buckets of paint, two ceiling fans, and Louvre blades was presented to the police by the chief.
Sarkin Hausa explained that the donation is in support of the efforts of the police to combat crime in the area.
“I’m grateful for the service and protection by your outfit, and I understand and also appreciate the sacrifices you make.” he noted.
The officers expressed their deepest gratitude to the Zongo chief for the generous donation, which they said would greatly enhance performance of the service. They believe that such partnerships will contribute to making Odorkor a more peaceful and secure place.
Sarkin Hausa took the opportunity to call on people who are financially sound to emulate his shining example and collaborate with the police, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in facilitating the commendable work of the police service.
