The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West Constituency in the Central Region, Nenyi George Andah, has cautioned New Patriotic Party (NPP) sympathizers and supporters to shun politics of insults that could lead to violence in the December general election.
He cautioned particularly the Elephant faithful to desist from any violence that could endanger the peace they are enjoying as the country prepares itself to go for polls in December.
According to him, ensuring a peaceful elections is his greatest hallmark as far as he continues to be the leader of the party in Awutu Senya West Constituency, and that election is not exchange of blows or bloodshed but about issues and what you can do for your people.
In an interview after he submitted his nomination forms at the District EC office, Nenyi George Andah said he was optimistic the people in the Constituency have set their eyes on the good work he has done and continue doing since assuming office and with much confidence, will push for his continuity.
He has however urged all constituents to consider retaining him as their MP and Nana Addo Akufo-Addo as the president to allow them do more for the Constituency.
The lawmaker said within his first term as MP, he has performed well in all the sectors, naming health, education, roads and infrastructure to show he needs four more years to complete those in the pipeline.
He has however admitted the NPP as a party want to break the One-Term MP syndrome in the Constituency this very.
Meanwhile, Nifahene of Awutu Traditional Council Nai Kofi Antwi Ofenam called on NPP members to propagate the good of George Andah to his constituents to maintain his seat for the second time.
Furthermore, Central Regional Treasure of NPP, Prof Joseph Kobina Essibu appealed to Ghanaians to reject former President Mahama because he has nothing to offer Ghanaians again due to his previous records.
