Tormentor-in-chief of Prince Moses Zakaria, perhaps the most feared parliamentary aspirant in the Madina Constituency, has taken his threat on the man vying to unseat his darling boy, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Denu-born Francis-Xavier Kojo Sosu, an octave higher- from warning to assault.
The New Crusading GUIDE’s scouts in the constituency reported that last Sunday, 26th February, 2023, the constituency chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Fusseini Faila, violently accosted Prince Moses Zakraria at the Gospel International School centre, within the constituency, and threatened him not to ever show up at any of the ward coordinators’ election centres and that should he ignore the threat he, Faila, would beat and strip him naked.
Prince Moses Zakaria’s only crime was that he had visited the ward coordinators’ election centres to donate water and also familiarize with some members of the party, and trying to unite the party to ensure a landslide victory in election 2024.
True to his threat, Faila proceeded to the La-Nkwantanang School Park, also within Madina, having left the Social Welfare election centre to attack the parliamentary aspirant, but for the timely intervention of two of his campaign team members who restrained the constituency chairman.
Even at that, the paper gathered that Mr. Zakaria’s Campaign Coordinator, Nissy Akua Hall Apeke was hurt by chairman Faila, who allegedly trampled on her in his attempt to attack the parliamentary hopeful.
Sources in Madina say “later, after he left the scene, Hon. Zak received a call from phone number 0246158013 and I hear True Caller later revealed the name of the person as one Abidini Bashiru, who claimed to be a boy of the Chairman and that himself and team had gathered at the Nkwantanang school park waiting to finish him up.”
The Madina Police, the paper gathered is investigating the number and the circumstances that led to the attacks and the threats on Mr. Prince Zakaria’s life and that of his team members.
Meanwhile, attempt to reach Chairman Faila to respond to the allegation and a video making rounds in the constituency about his attacks on the parliamentary hopeful hit a snag as calls to his telephone numbers were no answered.
