The race for the Ghana School of Law Student Representative Council (SRC) Presidency has taken an exciting turn as prominent BL candidate, BeGreat D. Osei Wereko of the UPSA Campus, has thrown his full support behind Micheal Obiri-Adjei, describing him as the ideal leader for the student body.
In a statement issued ahead of the SRC elections scheduled for Tuesday, 29th, and Wednesday, 30th April 2025, BeGreat praised Obiri-Adjei’s outstanding character, integrity, and unwavering commitment to student welfare, urging his colleagues to rally behind him.
“After extensive consultation and reflection, I am convinced that Micheal Obiri-Adjei is the leader we need at this crucial time,” BeGreat stated. “He is distinguished in character, affable in personality, and dedicated to the cause of humanity. His advocacy skills are time-tested, fearless, and strategic.”
BeGreat emphasized that aside from fulfilling the constitutional functions of the SRC, Obiri-Adjei has the bold vision to execute strategic advocacy, plan actionable programs, and secure tangible results for students. He pointed to Obiri-Adjei’s proposed initiatives as practical, research-based, and rooted in genuine commitment rather than mere campaign rhetoric.
Describing Obiri-Adjei as a leader who “cares, works, and gets results,” BeGreat passionately appealed to students to vote for Micheal Obiri-Adjei, who is number 4 on the ballot.
“Colleagues, on Tuesday and Wednesday, let’s place #OurBestFootForward and vote for Obiri, because Obiri cares,” he concluded.
The endorsement adds significant momentum to Obiri-Adjei’s campaign as the Ghana School of Law heads into what is expected to be a highly competitive SRC election.
