McDan Shipping Company Limited, a subsidiary of the McDan Group, reaffirmed its dominance in Ghana’s logistics and supply chain industry when it was named Logistics Company of the Year 2025 at the 5th Chamber Business Ghana Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The elegant ceremony, which attracted leaders from both the public and private sectors, was themed “Revitalizing Ghana’s Development Agenda through Strategic Public-Private Collaboration.” The theme underscored the crucial role of partnerships between government and industry players in driving economic transformation and sustainable development.

The awards night celebrated businesses that have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, and resilience in their respective sectors. McDan Shipping’s recognition stood out as a testament to its unwavering commitment to operational excellence and contribution to Ghana’s trade facilitation and logistics infrastructure.

Over the past two decades, McDan Shipping Company Limited has evolved into a benchmark for efficiency and reliability in the logistics space. Its operations span air, sea, and land freight, customs brokerage, project cargo handling, and warehousing services. The company’s integrated logistics model has been instrumental in enhancing trade flow within West Africa and connecting Ghanaian businesses to global markets.

McDan Shipping’s success story is built on its strategic investment in modern logistics technology, experienced workforce, and customer-focused service delivery. The company has continually adapted to global logistics trends, streamlining supply chain operations for clients across multiple industries including oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.

According to the awards committee, McDan Shipping’s outstanding performance in 2025 reflected “a strong commitment to innovation, sustainable logistics practices, and an enduring contribution to Ghana’s economic development.” The company’s role in supporting import and export operations, as well as its ability to meet international shipping standards, were among the key factors that earned it the honour.

The Chamber Business Ghana Awards has, over the years, become one of the country’s most respected platforms for recognizing excellence and promoting best practices among Ghanaian enterprises. The 2025 edition once again spotlighted companies that have gone beyond profit-making to impact communities and drive national progress.

McDan Shipping’s latest recognition adds to the growing list of awards earned by the McDan Group across various sectors.  A clear reflection of the group’s continued pursuit of excellence, innovation, and contribution to Ghana’s industrial growth.

As the logistics landscape continues to evolve, McDan Shipping remains at the forefront, driving efficiency, creating jobs, and strengthening Ghana’s position as a competitive logistics hub in West Africa.
