The parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Lower West Akim Constituency, Hon. Michael Adu-sei was the first to initiate measures to fight and prevent the disease from the constituency and since then he has not relented his efforts on that.
Today in Asamankese, Hon. Michael Adu-sei who is the Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of NDC visited Methodist School Park where some market women have been relocated there, to check on their situation.
Upon getting details of their predicaments since they were moved there, Mr Adu-sei swiftly moved in to donate relief items including Veronica buckets, nose masks, umbrellas and canopies for the market women.
Hon Michael Adu-sei expressed worries as to why authorities saw the need to move these market women there in enhancing the social distance protocols but failed to provide such relief items to keep them safe there. He however promised to continue such gestures and extend it to other areas.
The market women led by the Edwomhemaa and Enamhemaa express gratitude to Michael Adu-sei for that quick and necessary intervention and show of compassion.
This gesture by the NDC PC was accompanied by his constituency and branch executives including the Organizer Charles Nyame, Comms Officer Ben Yamoah, Youth Organizer Alhaji Bala, Women Organizer Vida Oparebea and Dep Comms Officer Mahmoud Ali Commando.
