A religious Group, the Concerned Ministers of God, under the Office the Coordinator of Religious Affairs of the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region, has expressed appreciation and joy at the nomination of Madam Mavis Hawa Koomson as the Minister of Fisheries of the Republic of Ghana.
In a Press Release signed and issued by Rev. Sam Ashmond Mensah, he indicated that the nomination of their Member of Parliament (MP) to the office as Minister of Fisheries is laudable and good news to them and the entire constituency.
The Group also appreciated the President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the honour he has done to Hawa Koomson.
They also appealed to the Parliamentary Select Committee to consider the approval of Madam Mavis Hawa Koomson to become the substantive Minister.
“That we also wish to use this medium to appeal to the Parliamentary Select Committee to consider the approval of Madam Mavis Hawa Koomson in the upcoming vetting of Ministerial nominees for the appointment of Mavis Hawa Koomson as a substantive Minister.”
“We thank the President and His Select Committee for choosing our Parliamentary Candidate for this high office and the favour done this constituency in Jesus Christ’s name,” the Release stated.
