A loquacious Member of Parliament (MP) whose political affiliation and name would be shelved for the time being has on the quiet playing it safe while amassing wealth even though he touts himself a socialist.
The MP, a former deputy minister, is on a property grabbing spree and there is no proper record of him as someone who had worked outside of politics to merit such opulent display of wealth.
The lawmaker who is conspicuous on Facebook and in his third term in Parliament and loud, has become so wealthy he appears to be on course to rub shoulders with the rich, movers and shakers in the society.
The MP in question is acquiring a number of giant properties and businesses attracting and raising eyebrows with questions beginning to pop up as to his source of funds.
Within a very short time, the unnamed member of the Ghana’s legislative house who resides at Airport Hills, a fast developing and affluent area in the national capital, with his family is doing so much for himself.
Apart from his Airport Hills mansion, the MP who is very conspicuous on Facebook allegedly owns a palatial mansion in his home town in the Volta Region from where he represents his people in Parliament.
At a time many are whining and crying over hardships, the lawmaker has additional massive property busily being constructed at Adjirigano, another affluent community in Accra.
There have been rumours of him chattering flights for a party of some sort in the past and always carrying huge sums of money in his car.
Outside of politics and Parliament, the MP before dabbling into politics where its believed he had made his money claimed to have worked as a small office consultant even though there is no record of such so far.
He is also said to have operated as an anti-corruption crusader before getting appointment in 2009 and entering Parliament in 2013 for the first time.
A product of the premier university where his results were withheld for student vandalism until his incursion into frontline politics leading to the eventual released of the results.
This singular action by the university cost him the chance to pursue law education at the Law Faculty of the premier university.
While living his life as a private citizen, the now MP unlike now where he has many vehicles, literally struggled as he moved around in a Golf 2 car, managing it as his only vehicle.
The modest vehicle was said to have been donated to him by a former National Security capo.
