SECURITY SERVICE ENLISTMENTS
In solidarity with the minority group in parliament, the National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress, at a meeting on Thursday, 18th November, 2024, has resolved to initiate an forensic audit and review of ALL appointments and enlistments conducted from 2017 to 2024 into ALL service branches of the Ghana Armed Forces, the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Fire Service, Ghana Prison Service, as well as all quasi-security agencies, upon the imminent advent of an NDC government in January 2025.
With immediate effect, all enlistments currently underway and in training 2024, will be outrightly cancelled and trainees dismissed to return home.
This resolution is based on the conviction that these enlistments from 2017 to 2024, have been shrouded in opacity with dire consequences on the peace and stability of the country and the stability of our democracy.
We must let the country accept this as a necessary cleaning exercise and the rank and file must note this and work to secure victory with the hope of getting enlisted into these security services after this intended audit.
