Supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have received the worse humiliation of their lives when they were made to clean, sweep and pick garbage on the streets of Accra after their unruly demonstration yesterday.
The supporters who are still unable to recover from the defeat the party suffered during the elections which probably was due to the failure of their leadership, continued to mass up at the various Regional Offices of the Electoral Commission (EC), demanding a re-declaration of the 2020 Presidential election.
In Accra, the situation is not different as leadership of the NDC continues to instigate their supporters to demonstrate and force the EC to bend to their demands.
The Flagbearer of the party after the declaration of the results by the EC said he was not going to accept the verdict.
This indeed, gave his supporters more energy to cause confusion within the country.
Meanwhile, the police administration had issued a warning against such unsanctioned demonstrations yet the NDC supporters flouted the order and besieged the Electoral Commission in their usual style and almost fighting the Police and Military personnel.
However after their so-called demonstration which obviously yielded no results, the security forces did not allow them to go away but ensured that, they clean the streets.
The supporters were made to sweep the streets, pick rubbish, clean gutters before leaving the area.
