The Principal Elders of the Nii Dodoo Family of Pokuase has disclosed that they have a strong working relation with the management of the Brainsfield Company Limited.
They have stated that family have for the past years instructed the management of Brainsfield Company to protect and manage all land and properties belonging to the family.
The principal elder led by the Dzaase of Pokuase, Nii Ofei Nkwantabisa IV made this known at a press briefing at the Pokuase Palace in Accra yesterday.
“We can say it on authority that we taught it wise to employ the management of Brainsfield Company Limited to guide our land to prevent it from encroachers,” he disclosed.
The Family, the Dzaasetse said previously had a working relationship with the company with the main aim of protecting its land from encroachers at the ACP Estate area.
“No member of the Nii Dodoo Clottey Family has illegally connived with Brainsfield Company Limited to sell family lands,” he stated.
The Dzaasetse therefore pleaded with the general public to disregard any publication seeking to suggest that Brainsfield Limited is stealing land belonging to the Nii Dodoo Clottey Family of Pokuase.
In another development, Nii Nkwantabisa IV said “at meeting held at the residence of the Head of the family of the Nii Dodoo Clottey Family of Pokuase on the 23rd day of July 2023, the Head of the Family (Grace Darkua Dodoo) informed the Principal Members that considering her advanced age (95 years) and her physical inabilities, she is nominating Justice Vida Akoto-Bamfo JSC (Rtd) to act on her behalf.”
The Dzaasetse further disclosed that Head of the Family had nominated and appointed three persons to lead the Asafo Groups in the Family, adding that the three persons would be headed by Asafoatse Amanor who has been elevated to the position of Pokuase Shipi.
