Businessmen, especially the astute ones are normally said to be not-too-honest people, but such cannot be said of chairman of the Afigya-Kwabre South constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who is also the chairman of the Ashanti Regional NPP, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah.
An Ashanti Regional Chairman-in- waiting of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and businessman of over 20 years standing, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah was proud recipient of the coveted Hope and Reliance Leadership Honors at the Presidential Globe African Heroes Honors 2021. Mr. Kwaku Appiah was awarded for his immense contribution to Ghanaian society.
“Your profound dedication, commitment and relentless devotion to be fair, free and firm in balance decision making has earned you this great compliment, commendation and accolades”, a letter addressed to the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency Chairman of the NPP read.
“After Careful considerations on all nominations were evaluated and deliberated on for several hours in over thirteen weeks by the selection committee, you came up top in the final top shortlist”, the letter further stated.
The event, organised by the Rectitude International Mission (RIM) and the Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce, and Administration (BORGCA), recognized many other well-meaning Ghanaians from academia, political parties, and the media. It was held on Friday, 21 January 2022, in Accra.
Odeneho after receiving the award thanked the organizers for the recognition.
“We pray for strength to continually be of help to society”, COKA, as he is affectionately called said. “I believe with the help of God, this and more can be done. God is our only hope.”
Rectitude International Mission is a subsidiary organization of the Bureau of Research on Governance Commerce and Administration [BORGCA].
It is the International Relations Unit of BORGCA, acting in all internationally related affairs as well as events/programmes on behalf of all BORGCA’s subsidiary agencies.
’BORGCA’ is a research centre for governance, commerce and administration related issues.
The Bureau basically observes, monitors and collates information on selected interests aimed at purposes of effectiveness/recognition and performance in its competitive analysis.
It was formed to give a new look and direction focusing more closely on individual activities and the administrative performance of corporate institutions in African societies.
Also present at the ceremony were: Dr Samuel Sarpong, Nana Agyenim Boateng and Agyapa. Former Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Mayor, Osei Assibey name was mentioned but he was not present at the event.
