…Chairman Agorhom Chides Mahama
The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Divine Otoo Agorhom, has chided the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) to stop seeing the presidency as an experimental ground, where he (John Mahama) would use to harness his capabilities.
According to Divine Otoo Agorhom, the presidency is a serious business where only people with vision, ideas and the determination to lead, change and transform lives, and build a better nation would be allows ascend.
In an exclusive interview with this reporter, Divine Agorhom expressed disappointment in John Mahama’s campaign strategy where he is now going round asking the people to tell him what he (Mahama) should do for them when he mistakenly wins power.
“So is Mahama telling us that for all the years he served as Vice President and President of this country, he does not know what the people of Ghana need? This shows he is visionless. Look, I can’t understand this. One would have thought that for all his experiences as former President of the country, he is already equipped with the problems facing the people of Ghana and mapped out strategies and policies to be able to address them,” he said.
According to the NPP Chairman, it is not surprising that the NDC under John Mahama’s watch could not achieve anything for the people of Ghana.
He said, this is not the time John Mahama will begin to do experiment with the Presidency, saying that “the Presidency is not an experiment. He should not come and waste our time. Ghana has gone far under President Akufo-Addo.”
He also observed that President Akufo-Addo has already established his brand as a “Promise-Fulfilling President,” who has, within his first term in office achieved enough for the people of Ghana.
Divine Agorhom noted that President Akufo-Addo in less than 3 years, has fulfilled almost all his campaign promises to the people of Ghana, an indication that he (Akufo-Addo) deserves four more years.
Commenting on the new ambulances distributed by the President to all the 275 constituencies across the country, Divine Agorhom said Nana Akufo-Addo has again fulfilled government promise to the people of Ghana.
According to him, it is heartwarming to see that government has imported the largest single fleet of ambulances in the history of Ghana and Africa which will go a long way to help in healthcare service delivery.
According to him, the NDC must stop making noise about the new ambulances procured since the NDC under Mahama imported ambulances which could not even be used and unfit for any purpose.
He called on the people of Ghana to make the right decisions in the coming elections since all indicators are pointing to “4 More Years For Akufo-Addo To Do More.”
