I want to categorically deny the baseless allegations of involvement in galamsey activities in Nzema East. These claims are malicious, politically motivated, and lack concrete evidence. As the Municipal Chief Executive, I’m committed to fighting galamsey and protecting our environment.
The allegations about galamsey at my official residence are false and an attempt to tarnish my reputation. I invite any credible investigative body to visit my residence and verify these claims. It’s shocking that those making these allegations can’t provide proof.
The Adrekezo incident is under police investigation, and I’m cooperating fully. The police are competent to handle the case, and I’m confident justice will be served.
As MCE, I’m working tirelessly to ensure accountability and transparency in Nzema East. My efforts to combat galamsey are evident in our community engagement and enforcement activities. I urge the public to focus on facts, not propaganda.
The Ankobra River pollution is a concern for me, and I’m working with security agencies to address it. Blaming me for this is unfair, as I’m not the only stakeholder responsible for environmental protection.
I’m disappointed by the allegations, especially since they come amid my efforts to develop Nzema East. I remain committed to serving the people and urge the public to disregard these baseless claims.
Let the investigators do their work. I’m ready to cooperate and clear my name.
