Re: Minister & Husband Demolish Dubai Embassy Property
The New Crusading GUIDE in our Monday, April 4, 2022 edition, published a news story under the headline “Minister & Husband Demolish Dubai Embassy Property,” which sought to suggest a supposed interest of the Deputy Minister for Finance, Hon Abena Osei Asare, in a land under litigation at Roman Ridge in Accra.
Further checks have however revealed that the Deputy Minister of Finance has no interest in the said property.
The Deputy Minister of Finance’s husband, Kwaku Osei Asare, a lawyer, rather, is representing one of the parties (Frank Nuamah) who are battling the case in court.
In lieu of the latest information, The New Crusading GUIDE wishes to retract its earlier publication against the Deputy Minister entirely and render an unqualified apology.
Any inconvenience caused the Deputy Minister as regards the said publication is deeply regretted.
