The 1962 Year Group left Presec and raised her flag on the national and international stages producing very noted academics, medical doctors, lawyers, scientists and other professionals of repute.
They love their Alma Mater and are always ready to share in her achievements. It was therefore Presec Pride on display when Prof Mike Oquaye, Prof Wellington, Dr Yeboa Amoa and Nii Amartey had lunch with our boys at the family Banquet Hall at the residence of Prof Oquaye and gave our elders a feel of the # 8 trophy. In our alumni fraternity, the former speaker is the Global Head Boy (School Prefect after School for life) so the team had to pay a courtesy call on him to show him the trophy.
The cuisine was fried and jollof rice, waakye, spicy grilled meats, fufu and soup etc. It was great honour for our boys to have lunch at same table with Prof Wellington (Architecture) Famed Dr Yeboa Amoa founding managing director of the Ghana Stock Exchange and Odadee Amartey a seasoned administrator in the USA and respected professional. The School delegation included Mr Prince Agortey and Mr Affram the NSMQ Coordinator. Our selected 2024 NSMQ squad were included in this luncheon and the senior Odadees charged them to work hard and bring home #9.
We are grateful to Global School Prefect Rt. Hon Prof Oquaye and his 1962 mates for throwing this luncheon for # 8 boys, motivating and boosting morale of the new 2024 team.
