Indigenes of Senya Breku in the Awutu Senya District of the Central Region have performed rituals to destool their Chief Nenyi Ampabo Kweku Issiw for preventing the construction of Winners University.
The residents including Asafo members have accused the Chief and Tufuhene of frustrating development by selling lands earmarked for developmental projects.
Clad in red to signify their displeasure, the Asafo company groups who are the kingmakers and some indigenes of the community marched through the indigenous part of Senya Breku chanting war songs.
These displeasured indigenes say they are not satisfied with the leadership of their chief Nenyi Ampabo Kweku Issiw.
They have accused them of failing to promote development in the community by selling lands haphazardly.
The latest development that has struck them most is that the chief has palce court injunction on the construction of Winners University in the community.
Speaking to Adom News, leader of the Asafo company groups in Senya Bereku Supi Bondzie Essibuah Acquah expressed their concerns
Some other community members also spoke concerning the developmental challenges of the community.
When contacted by New Crusading Guide, the chief Nenyi Ampabo Kweku Issiw failed to grant interview.
