At the 9th Ghana Insurance Awards held on August 22, 2026, at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, Serene Insurance LTD made a statement winning the Indigenous Insurance Company of the Year 2025 and Promising Insurance Company of the Year 2025 awards to underscore the Company’s strategic progress, resilience, and commitment to delivering value to our customers and stakeholders.
In a related development, at the 6th Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) Excellence Awards, also held on August 29, 2026 at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, Serene Insurance’s Head of Underwriting, Mrs. Barbara Odoi was adjudged the Professional Underwriter of the Year 2025, in recognition of the Company’s resolute professionalism and commitment to effective risk management, speedy claims processing, proficiency and dedication to exceptional client experience. This distinguished individual achievement reflects the depth of talent, professionalism, and excellence within the Serene Insurance team.
These come on the back of similar individual feats at the 5th Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) Excellence Awards, which recognised the Head of Claims, Mr. Daniel Otoo as the Claims Professional of the Year 2024 and the Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Mercy Naa Koshie Boampong winning the ultimate award, Insurance Professional of the Year 2024.
