By Frank Amponsah

President Akufo-Addo has called out on former President John Mahama the flag bearer of  the opposition National Democratic Congress ( NDC) for lying to the good people of Ghana in his bid to return to power after he failed Ghanaians while in office from January 2009 to January 2017, first as Vice President and subsequently as President.

President Akufo-Addo charged at his main opponent in the December 7th Polls which is thirteen (13) days away from today, the 24th of November 2020, he addressed traders and residents of Kokompe market, and Kaneshie market in the Okaikwei South Constituency, as part of day one of his two-day campaign tour of the Greater Accra. The President repeated same when he addressed traders and residents of the Abeka market in the Okaikwei Central Constituency and Anyaa Market in the Anyaa Sowutoum Constituency.

“Elements in the NDC together with their flagbearer who has had the opportunity to govern this country before but failed the people of Ghana woefully, are out and about making promises on what they will do when they come back to power. Why are they failing to give an account of their stewardship when they were given the opportunity. This is not the time to deceive the people of Ghana. You did not do anything meaningful for the people of Ghana with your Presidency. Stop the lying because Ghanaians will not tolerate them any longer” President Akufo-Addo said when he addressed the crowd at the Abeka Market.
