The Presidential Staffer, Economic Advisor, and Spokesperson to the Vice-President Dr. Gideon Boako has on Wednesday donated GHc10,000 to TanoBofoakwa Football Club in Sunyani in the Bono Region.
The aide to the Vice-President through the Bono Regional Communications Director, Mr. AsareBediako Seth donated an amount of Ten thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc10,000) to the team in fulfillment of the earlier pledge he made to the team ahead of their last match in Berekum.
Dr Gideon Boako on Sunday met with the players and management body of TanoBofoakwaFencouraged them to cement ahead of their deciding encounter with Berekum Arsenal.
“I want to encourage you all to give out7 your utmost best, fight as if your life depends on this match,” Dr. Boako told the players in the morning.”
In an interview with the press, Mr. AsareBediako Seth who made the presentation said, the donation was to support the club in its financial obligations and also aid them as they prepare for the next season.
The Operations Manager for TanoBofoakwa Mr. Alphonse Cuddjoe who received the amount expressed their gratitude to Dr. Boako for his kind gesture and assured him that, the money will be used judiciously to yield better results for the team.
