Abdul Malik Kweku Baako and Vice President Bawumia(r) in a COVID greetings
The Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia yesterday 10th March, 2021 paid a visit to Abdul-Malik Kweku Baako and his family to commiserate with them over the passing away of the Senior Journalist’s mother, Madam Gloria Aba Addison whose sad event occurred last Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Ghana Maritime Hospital.
The Vice President in a conversation with Mr. Baako Jnr and family expressed his deepest condolences and also took the opportunity to extend the sympathies of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who also happens to be a long standing friend of the Senior Journalist.
Dr. Bawumia assured Mr. Baako Jnr. of the nation’s prayer and support for him and his family in these difficult times.
He further empathized, saying that even though Madam Gloria was advanced in years, her death was a sad one since the vacuum her absence will create can never be filled by anyone.
The Vice President was accompanied by some dignitaries from the Jubilee House.
