VITO S-Class Services Ltd. is setting a new benchmark for vehicle inspection in Ghana by combining cutting-edge technology, efficient service delivery and a customer-first approach that makes the process faster, more transparent and more convenient for motorists.

For many vehicle owners, obtaining inspection and related services often involves long queues, multiple procedures and unnecessary delays. VITO S-Class is changing that narrative by delivering a seamless, technology-driven experience without compromising the rigorous technical and safety standards required for vehicle certification.

As a Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA)-authorised Private Vehicle Testing Station (PVTS), the company has invested significantly in state-of-the-art automated systems that improve the speed, accuracy and reliability of vehicle inspections.

Using advanced German testing equipment and fully automated inspection lanes, VITO S-Class completes a comprehensive vehicle inspection in approximately 10 minutes. The automated assessment evaluates critical components such as wheel alignment, suspension, service and parking brakes, shock absorbers, trafficators and headlights.

The technical inspection is complemented by detailed visual checks of essential safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first-aid boxes, warning triangles, jacks, wheel spanners, seat belts, reflectors and windscreens.

Customer Experience at the Core

For VITO S-Class, delivering exceptional customer experience extends beyond reducing inspection time. It is about building trust through professionalism, transparency and efficiency at every stage of the customer journey.

Chief Executive Officer of VITO S-Class Services Ltd., Mrs Jacqueline Oppong Mensah, said the company’s mission is to simplify the inspection process while ensuring customers receive quality service from arrival to completion.

“Our vision is to create an experience where customers feel confident about the process from the moment they arrive until their service is completed. Technology is important, but ultimately it must translate into greater convenience, transparency and better service for every customer,” she said.

Technology Driving Better Service

Mrs Oppong Mensah said innovation remains at the heart of VITO S-Class’ operations, with technology serving as the backbone of its drive to deliver faster, smarter and more transparent vehicle inspection services.

According to her, the company’s Vehicle Inspection Management System (VIMS) is an intelligent digital platform that manages every stage of the inspection process—from vehicle registration and testing to certificate issuance.

She explained that the system enables real-time data management while significantly improving operational efficiency, accuracy, transparency and security.

Mrs Oppong Mensah added that VITO S-Class has also introduced an AI-powered Voice Assistant to support both staff and customers by providing instant access to vehicle inspection information and guiding users through various service processes.

She noted that together, these technologies reduce waiting time, improve communication and enhance the overall customer experience.

The CEO further explained that the company’s fully automated inspection lanes minimise unnecessary human intervention during technical assessments, ensuring that inspection results are driven primarily by objective data generated by sophisticated German testing equipment.

According to her, this enhances public confidence in the integrity, fairness and transparency of the inspection process.

She added that VIMS also demonstrates the growing capability of Ghanaian software developers to build world-class digital solutions capable of solving complex operational challenges while improving public service delivery.

Bringing DVLA Services Closer to Motorists

Mrs Oppong Mensah said another major milestone in the company’s customer-centred strategy is the establishment of the DVLA Ultra Center at its Dome facility in collaboration with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA).

According to her, the Ultra Center brings a wide range of DVLA services closer to residents of Dome and neighbouring communities, eliminating the need for motorists to travel long distances or visit multiple offices to access essential vehicle-related services.

Customers can now access services including vehicle registration, driver’s licence issuance, renewals and replacements, international driving permits and roadworthiness certification under one roof.

She noted that beyond improving convenience, the Ultra Center is expected to ease congestion at existing DVLA offices while providing motorists with a more comfortable, efficient and customer-focused service environment.

Mrs Oppong Mensah said the company’s long-term vision is to establish a new benchmark for vehicle inspection and licensing services in Ghana.

“We want motorists to experience a new standard of service—one that is convenient, transparent and customer-focused. The Ultra Center brings essential DVLA services closer to the people, while our investment in technology enables us to provide faster and more efficient services without compromising safety or integrity,” she said.

Setting a New Industry Standard

Mrs Oppong Mensah said VITO S-Class is redefining expectations for vehicle inspection and licensing services by combining advanced technology, automation and a customer-first philosophy.

She said the company’s investments in rapid automated inspections, artificial intelligence, digital innovation and the DVLA Ultra Center reflect its commitment to delivering world-class services that are efficient, transparent and reliable.

“Our goal is not simply to inspect vehicles,” she said. “It is to transform the entire customer experience by making every interaction faster, smarter, more transparent and more convenient while contributing to safer roads across Ghana.”

This commitment, she noted, positions VITO S-Class Services Ltd. as a leader in modern vehicle inspection and an emerging benchmark for service excellence within Ghana’s transport sector.
