Wontumi made this known when he spoke after a resounding victory in the party’s regional elections held on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
“NPP has a number of people supporting the party. The party has intellectuals and influential people so leading such a party is no joke as a lot is expected from you. I know that lessons have been learnt today.
Whatever wrong we did in the past administration, myself and my executives, find a place in your heart to forgive us. To our competitors, you did very well. What we need for 2024 is unity so I stand in the stead of my executives that we forgive everyone who fouled us. For 2024 breaking the eight, we have forgiven everyone,” he said.
Chairman Wontumi promised to work with the media going forward in order to ensure that the party wins the 2024 election.
