Construction of a 504 unit quarters for the Ghana Police Service at Kwabenya in the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region is about 95 percent complete, according to the project contractor.
The project which commenced in March 2020 is aimed at addressing the accommodation challenges that have confronted the Ghana Police service for years. The project is being undertaken by, Berchie Acheamfour, a well-known experienced and professional contractor the project is of high standard quality and could last for decades without renovation than one would expect. The all-important project is meant to be handed over to the Ministry of the Interior before the end of the 2021 year to also help create comfortability for police personnel. It was also of the hope that the project when occupied by the police would go a long way to help minimise land guard and notorious acts within the Ga East Municipality.
