The ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) aim of winning the Ablekuma South Constituency seat in the Greater Accra Region, during the 7 December general elections has gained momentum as the electorates are rooting for the party’s parliamentary candidate, Samuel Sharbah Lartey (Teacher Agoe).
The constituents believe Teacher Agoe is a democrat who considers the interest of his people than any other thing.
In an interaction with some constituents in the constituency, Mr. Anthony Oteng said, “We have lived in the constituency with Teacher Agoe for years and truly knows what he is capable of doing, and we are therefore ready to elect him as our Member of Parliament (MP).”
He disclosed that several people, including the teeming youth in the area, have benefitted immensely from the NPP and Mr. Lartey as an individual.
For her part, Mrs. Mary Allotey thanked the party’s executives for electing Mr. Lartey as the NPP’s parliamentary candidate, as she described him (Lartey) as the best person to represent them in Parliament.
She declared their readiness as electorates to vote massively for Mr. Lartey and the NPP in the December 7th general elections.
I’m his response, Mr. Lartey thanked the good people of Ablekuma South for their confidence reposed in him and assured them of nothing but a transparent leadership when voted into power.
He challenged the current MP for the area, Okoe Vaderpuye to mention any single developmental project he has undertaken for the good people of the constituency.
Mr. Lartey is said to have established a private school which every child in the area who attends does not pay tuition fees.
Mr. Lartey who was confident of winning the seat and also increased the NPP’s presidential votes in the elections described himself as a decorative leader who cares much about the poor without discrimination.
