The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has nominated the Member of Parliament (MP) for Efutu, Hon. Alexander Afenyo Markin as Chairman of Board of Directors of Electricity of Ghana.
In a letter signed by the Secretary to the President on July 16, 2024, the Minister for Energy is requested to give effect to his nomination in accordance with the Companies Act, Act
2019, (Act 992.) Hon. Alexander Afenyo Markin is by the nomination, and if approved will take over from Herbert Krapah who was assigned to a different position.
