The Abodiesahene of the Asamankese Traditional area, Baffour Kwame Awuakye has promised the ruling government, the NPP and the good people of Asamankese that, Nananom of the area are ready to support the 1D1F and anybody who is ready to use Asamankese lands for projects that would bring jobs to the youth
In an interview with the media, Baffour Kwame Awuakye advice the youth of the area to engage in Agric production after school instead of migrating to seek greener pastures elsewhere
He made this known yesterday at the celebration and launch of the 2nd “Obodwan” festival at the Asamankese palace
Launching the event, Baffour Kwame Awuakye said, Nananom of the traditional area are ever ready to support the government vision of creating one District one factory by giving out vast lands for projects and factories at no cost.
Ahead of the main Obodwan festival, Abodiesahene Baffour Kwame Awuakye cautioned the youth in the Municipality to desist from negative activities that would create instability and chaos in the area and lead to their arrest.
He says people should disregard reports that portray Asamankese as a violent e town. . “Asamankese is a peaceful area to stay” he added.
He stated further that, Asamankese is a commercial town with large population which helps to boost business activities.
The festival has been slated for October, 25th and November,3rd 2019.
