Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit (ATIGS) is a unique high-level, prestigious, biennial business platform designed specifically to promote and facilitate international trade and foreign direct investment in Africa.
It fosters relationships and engage efficiently with key influencers and investors from every corner of the world. During a period of two days, Vice presidents, ministers, governors, business executives, top CEOs, international investors, and companies seeking to expand in African markets are gathered in one single place to discuss concrete investment projects and establish strategic partnerships through thematic workshops, presentations, and networking sessions.
In a Tweet from the country representative of ATIGS Ghana, he mentioned the readiness of ATIGS to invest massively into the Ghanaian economy. Our reporter followed up to find out more about ATIGS’S planned investments and was privileged to have an exclusive interview with Mr. King Adukpo; the country representative of ATIGS Ghana.
“Through ATIGS Group, we have developed and launched cutting-edge programs including Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit (ATIGS) which has met a great success in multiple markets. Today, our portfolio encompasses specific Trade and Investment solutions and initiatives such as Africa Worldwide Alliance Partnerships (AfriWAPA), an initiative that helps African enterprises of all sizes elevate their brands and boost their businesses at international trade shows, which spearheaded the first Africa House, at South by South West Festival, and Africa Market Place at many international shows. To date, ATIGS has facilitated over $365 million in trade and investment as part of its specific programs, helped large-scale projects get off the ground, and supported businesses from U.S, China, India, Turkey, UAE, Germany, among others expand the footprint in African markets. All this has been achieved since the first ATIGS conference in 2018 in Washington DC,” Wisdom King Adukpo stated.
ATIGS provides a full spectrum of consulting and business development services to companies looking to expand or establish their operations in African markets.
“As part of our activities, we facilitate the pipeline between high-level investors, and top scalable, profitable opportunities across Africa, and connect Africa’s leading businesses to world-class Investment organizations, strategic decision-makers, and partners.
And thanks to our unparalleled capabilities and global network, we can mobilize prominent economic players from all around the world and organize exclusive gatherings dedicated to Trade and Investment” he disclosed
Mr. Adukpo who is also the CEO of Tiwala Group also revealed that he has leveraged on his position as the country representative and West African coordinator and an official partner to the African trade and investment global group to organize an advantageous seminar in September to bring onboard the chairman of ATIGS and Labacorp Group to Ghana to look at areas they can invest over ten billion cedis into the Ghanaian economy in the next coming years.
“Ghana is hosting the rest of Africa in the Africa Continental Free Trade Area, this means a lot to ATIGS and hence our plan to drive such investment into the country” Mr. Wisdom King Adukpo strongly believe this could be one big opportunity for Ghanaian business men to foster international partnerships and also be part of ATIGS DUBAI 2020.
