A 24years old boy who had come to sojourned with his aunt at Tarkwa-Na-Abosso in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality was brutally murdered in a bush near a community mining site in the town few days ago and all fingers are being pointed at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy Woman’s Organizer called Jamila Fuseini for her possible involvement in the murder.
The deceased, Master Abdul Sameed who is said to be a vociferous and ardent support of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had barely migrated some two years ago from the north for a greener pasture in the West only to meet his untimely death.
According to this Paper’s source on the ground, the deceased’s friend (name withheld) had called Abdul to discuss a matter with him only for him to be told that he(Abdul) had received a call earlier from Madam Jamila asking him to meet her at a place near the community mining site for a job so he was just on his way to meet Madam Jamila.
The source stated that after the called ended, they never heard anything again from Master Abdul until late evening that day when two guys riding Aboboya (tricycle) came to drop a sack at the door step of Master Abdul’s Auntie’s house.
So out of curiosity, the auntie asked some guys around to help her inspect whatever the boys dropped in the sack and lo and behold, therein lied her nephew’s dead body.
It suddenly became a rumor that spread like wild fire within the town and it’s environs so when the Dagomba Zongo Chief called Tanko got wind of it, he quickly stepped in and asked the matter to be reported to the Police and the body sent to mortuary for further enquiries to be made.
Meanwhile, in a telephone interview with Madam Jamila for her side of the story, she stated that “it’s a matter that had happened, it’s painful, I’m also a family, he’s my brother… he has been very stubborn and our attempt to straighten him up went bad so please let’s leave it at that… I beg of you in the name of Allah and Jesus please let’s leave here please”. After those last words from Madam Jamila, the line dropped and several attempts to reach her for clearer explanation on her statement she’s made proved futile.
However, someway, somehow, according to Jamila, the boy has already been buried at his hometown in the North. But the police is yet to conclude investigations on the matter.
