The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, together with Service Chiefs of GAF and Heads of Security Services, paid a loyalty call on the President of the Republic of Ghana and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces – His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
During the visit on yesterday in Accra, General Oppong-Peprah, congratulated President Mahama on his election victory, on behalf of the delegation, and pledged their unwavering support and loyalty to him.
He stressed that, the peace and stability Ghana as a nation continues to enjoy, emanate from the teamwork approach by the Heads of the Security Services.
He pledged that they would continue to collaborate and work harder to ensure that peace and security reign in the country.
On his part, President Mahama expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their loyalty salute, and acknowledged their hard work in keeping Ghana peaceful and safe.
He encouraged the Security Heads to continue to exhibit professionalism in the discharge of their mandate.
