The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) has released an updated schedule for its upcoming Zonal Public Engagements in the Northern Belt of Ghana as part of its ongoing nationwide consultations aimed at reviewing the 1992 Constitution.
According to a press release dated June 9, 2025, and signed by Dr. Rainer Akumperigya, Secretary of the Committee, the engagements will begin in Bolgatanga on Monday, June 16, and continue in Tamale on Wednesday, June 18, and Wa on Monday, June 23. All meetings are scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. at designated venues within each zone.
The Committee has extended invitations to a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including traditional authorities, youth and women’s groups, civil society organizations, public servants, persons with disabilities, and other key interest groups across the regions. These consultations aim to gather diverse perspectives and proposals on potential constitutional reforms.
