Following the outbreak of the novel Corona virus (COVID 19), the acting chief of Akyem Etwereso, Dasebere Twumasi Dwamena Ayebiahwe has donated preventive items towards the fight against the deadly disease to the Etwereso community.
The items included 40 boxes of hand sanitizers from Gihoc, 10 large size Veronica bucket and several packs tissue paper. The aim is to encourage residents to adhere to the use of the preventive tools in other to avoid the entry of the disease in the Etwereso community. Members of the unit committee of the town received the items from Dasebere Twumasi Dwamena Ayebiahwe who tasked them to put in place measures to regulate the use the items to benefit the people of Etwereso.
In January this year, Dasebere Twumasi Dwamena Ayebiahwe as part of his development plans donated an amount of 200.00.00 to the community and also also donated some clothes to the aged in the community whiles the youth walked away with three (3)set of footbal jerseys. Daasebre promised to partner government to bring development to the Etwereso and appealed to the Tourism Ministry to visit the Etwereso community and invest in the tourist sites in the area. Dasebere finally commended his royal majesty Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin,the overlord of the okyeman kingdom for his exceptional leadership in the development of the Akyem area .
