Chief Executive Officer for the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Lawyer John Ampontuah Kumah, who is aspiring to become the Parliamentary candidate for the Ejisu Constituency in the Ashanti Region said his mission for becoming an MP is to bring development to the Ejisu constituency.
He said, he is also ready to create more jobs for the youth and empower the constituents.
The astute lawyer noted that his main goal is more seasoned in maneuvering the very complex political systems to bring about needed changes at Ejisu.
The man behind the flagship programme of the government of Ghana responsible for youth empowerment, creativity and innovation in an interview noted that under his leadership the programme has unprecedentedly trained 7000 startups in 2018 under the Presidential Business Support Programme and supported 1350 beneficiaries with funds ranging from Ghs10,000.00 to Ghs
100,000.
He noted that despite his little experience in life he has the wherewithal, the stature, the credibility the personality and the sincerity to lead.
Lawyer John Kumah noted that the NPP in Ejisu needs a Member of Parliament with exceptional capabilities and policy brain and that despite all, the constituency needs someone who does not only have a steady hand and a consensus builder, but one who is a strong leader and who has faith in the greatness of what the Ejisu constituency has to offer even in the most trying times.
Mr Kumah holds a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Economics with Philosophy from the University of Ghana (Legon), and MBA (Finance) from GIMPA, a Degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Ghana, and a Professional Law Degree (BL) from Ghana School of Law.
He was admitted to the Ghana Bar in 2013, as a Solicitor and Legal Practitioner for the Supreme Court of Ghana.
Lawyer John Kumah who is lacing his boot to unseat the Incumbent MP, Kwabena Owusu-Aduomi, further appeals to the delegates to give him the nob coming this Saturday so that he will offer concrete programs and ideas to develop the constituency when become the Legislature of the area.
