A newly formed political party, “Save the Nation Movement,” has officially received a certificated from the Electoral Commission (EC) to contest the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
This is an indication that the political party has met the necessary requirements by the EC and is therefore ready to compete for political power in the December 7th General Elections.
Addressing the media at the party’s head office at Ayi-Mensah in Accra on Wednesday June 26, 2024, General Secretary of the party, Nene Lartey Addico, said, and “We are very happy to meet the necessary requirements of the EC to contest the 2024 General elections on December 7″.
Nene Addico expressed confidence that securing the certificate has made the party and their operations credible and genuine and prepared them adequately to campaign across the country ahead of the December 7 general elections to wrestle power.
He appealed to Ghanaians to rally behind the save the Nation Movement to enable them win power in the December general elections.
The party’s General Secretary disclosed that the party has a vibrant leadership to lead the country to its promised land when voted for in the elections.
“Save the Movement, will ensure equality among Ghanaians without considering political colours of any individual when voted into office,” he assured.
He called on Ghanaians to ignore both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and give them the mandate to develop the country.
According to him, the party’s flagbearer, who is a man of God, has a pure heart to ensure that every Ghanaian gets his or her share of the “National Cake” without discrimination.
“Save the Nation Movement” as a political party is not seeking power to create loot and share, it rather seeks the welfare if Ghanaians and their liberations from the shackles of the hard economy, “he stated.
