Residents including youth groups in Ga North have endorsed the appointment of Simons Sekyimas the Ga North Municipal Chief Executive.
They commended the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for giving them such a dynamic and youthful leader who will superintend the developmental projects in the Municipality.
The group which believes Simons Sekyim has all it takes to bring development to the Municipality said, the President made the right choice with Simons Sekyim.
With that, they welcomed with open arms, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s nomination of Simons Sekyim.
The residents are confident that the appointment of Simons Sekyimwill spur development in the area since he had already shown that he is a great example of leadership in the Municipality when he was the Municipal Director for NADMO.
They expressed the belief that the fortunes of Ga North will witness a dramatic upturn under his leadership.
Residents also indicated that the nomination Simons Sekyim as MCE amply demonstrates an awakening era in the Ga North constituency; and they appealed to their assembly members to give him their approval to expedite him to officially assume his role and help develop the area. “What we want is developmental projects in Ga North Axim and we believe Simons Sekyim can help achieve that,” they said.
Whiles commending President Akufo-Addo for the nomination, they urged the Assembly members to approve in unanimity, Simons Sekyim, since that will allow him occupy office in earnest and put in motion, his plans for the area.
