The Chief of Gbetsile in the Kpone -Kantamanso District of the Greater Accra Region, Nii Teye Kojo Amanquah Sune I, has called on his people to unite in a bid to bring development to the area.
According to Nii Teye Kojo Amanquah, Gbetsile can only thrive and rub shoulders with other towns when it is known to have peace
Nii Sune I made this known at the 8th edition of the annual Thanksgiving ceremony held in the community last Sunday.
The Gbetsile chief appealed to the community members to collaborate to help tackle challenges that have affected developmental programs and activities in area
“We must not always wait on the government for developmental projects whilst we have the means to achieve our own goals and objectives. We are going to take the bull by the horn and start tackling our problems, “he stated.
The annual ceremony also serves as a platform to strengthen ties with stakeholders to build stronger relations between Christian and Muslim communities.
The Chief further appealed to government to work on the poor road network in the community, which have been in deplorable state for years
The Gbetsile chief disclosed that the long-standing bad nature of their roads have gone a long way to negatively affect businesses in the community.
He appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to come to help them fix their deplorable roads.
