The management of Ghana First Company Limited (GFCL) has announced plans to release selected Clean Ghana Sanitation Project toilet facilities to the Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) and their Members of Parliament (MPs) for completion and operationalization.
GFCL’s Board of Directors and management emphasize the company’s commitment to its core mandate and ethical values.
This initiative aims to support the assemblies in better serving their communities while GFCL prepares for a large-scale completion of the remaining facilities.
Assemblies with GFCL projects in their areas are invited to visit the GFCL Head Office within 30 days to discuss the release of these projects. Assemblies are cautioned not to proceed with any completion efforts without GFCL’s consent, as unauthorized actions will lead to legal consequences and project reclamation.
GFCL also clarified that contracts with contractors have expired, except for those who have renewed and regularized their agreements. Contractors have 30 days from the publication date to regularize their contracts with GFCL to be part of this special arrangement.
GFCL reiterated the terms of the contract, emphasizing the company’s discretion in payment and project management.
The company urged the general public and all stakeholders to comply with this announcement to ensure the successful completion of the Clean Ghana Sanitation Project facilities.
