The Ministry of the Interior has opened applications for a nationwide recruitment exercise covering four key security agencies — the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry said the process, which runs from November 15 to December 15, seeks to boost Ghana’s internal security and enhance public safety.
It encouraged “suitably qualified, disciplined, and patriotic citizens” to apply, stressing that the recruitment aims to strengthen the country’s security architecture and improve service delivery.
The Ministry cautioned applicants to beware of fraudsters claiming to influence the process for money, emphasising that no fees are required at any stage of the exercise.
“Anyone found dealing with middlemen or submitting false documents will be automatically disqualified and may face prosecution,” the statement warned.
Further details on vacancies, qualifications, and application procedures for each agency are expected to be published soon.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for screening, aptitude tests, and background checks, the Ministry added.
