New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2024 parliamentary candidate for the Jaman north constituency in the Bono region, Hon Enock Nyarko, popularly called Adwuma Wura by his constituents over the weekend, joined the Deputy Attorney General and minister for justice, Hon Lawyer Alfred Tuah Yeboah, the minister for Employment and Labour Relations who double as the member of parliament for Sunyani west to mourn with the family, relatives, chiefs and queen mothers within the Sunyani traditional council during the final funeral rite for Nana Asor Bosoma Kawiri II, the Paramount chief of the Sunyani traditional area at the Sunyani palace.
The funeral rites which is the DOTE EYIE attracted personalities from all walks of life including the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana who is also the 2024 flagbearer of the ruling new patriotic party, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, his wife the 2nd Lady, Hajia Samira Bawumia, the national chairman of the NPP, Mr Stephen Ntim who is also from the Bono region, Ing. Mr Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, a leading member of the NPP, the Bono regional minister, Hon Justina Owusu Banahene, some Municipal and District chief executives, NPP regional and constituency executives to mourn with Sunyani traditional council to mourn their paramount chief.
Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Hon Ignatius Baffour Awuah on behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo presented cartons of assorted drinks and an amount of 1 million Gh cedis whereas the Vice President and the flagbearer of the ruling NPP for 2024, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia together with his wife also supported with an amount of 1 million Gh cedis to the Sunyani traditional council.
Earlier the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, John Dramani Mahama came to support with an amount of 1 million Gh cedis as his support for the funeral rites.
