Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, the former Chief Justice of Ghana, has been appointed as a Deputy Chairperson of FIFA’s Adjudicatory Chamber for a four-year term. The announcement was made during the 75th FIFA Congress held in Asuncion, Paraguay.
In his new role, Justice Anin-Yeboah will help oversee the enforcement of ethical conduct across global football. The Adjudicatory Chamber—an integral arm of FIFA’s Ethics Committee—is tasked with reviewing cases submitted by the Investigatory Chamber, determining whether proceedings should advance or be dismissed, and issuing sanctions in line with FIFA’s statutes.
Justice Anin-Yeboah brings decades of legal and administrative experience to the position. As Ghana’s 14th Chief Justice, he earned a reputation for fairness and integrity. He has also made significant contributions to football governance, having held roles within the Ghana Football Association and served previously on FIFA’s judicial bodies.
His dual expertise in law and sports administration makes him exceptionally qualified to support FIFA’s mission to preserve the integrity of the game.
