The National House of Chiefs has expunged the Ashalaja chief, Nii Akwanor (iv) from its register after he was destooled by the kingmakers of Ashalaja.
According to Kingmakers of Ashalaja, the Former chief Nii Akwanor IV, popularly known as Obene Tawiah forged documents to register over 12,000 acres of Land belonging to the Akwanor Royal Family.
Nananom revealed that, after Nii Akwanor IV alias Obene was destooled, he has employed over 100 Land Guards, bought guns for them and terrorizing innocent developers.
Nananom alleged that, on Saturday Land Guards who were motivated by the self-styled chief stormed the office of the Nii Akwanor Royal Family Land Secretariat, attacked workers and burnt the entire office.
Addressing a press conference, Gyasehene of Ashalaja, Jonathan Nii Ackaah Mintah revealed that the National House of Chiefs has expunged his name from their register due to his criminal activities.
The Traditional leader Jonathan Ackaah Mintah cautioned Nii Akwanor IV to stop parading himself as Chief of Ashalaja and also warned Ghanaians not to do any business transactions with him since he is fraudster and criminal.

The Gyasehene Jonathan Ackaah Mintah revealed that, Last year the same Obene and his biological son were arrested by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command for allegedly killing the Oshipi of Ashalaja, Oshipi Joshua Lartey at Amasaman while he was returning to Ashalaja.
Nii Akwanor IV popularly known as Obene and his biological son Nii Moshey are standing trail at the Accra High Court whiles five of his land guards have been arrested for burning Akwanor Royal Family Land Secretariat.

In a Press conference yesterday, the Gyasehene indicates that, they are appealing to the Director of CID at the Ghana Police service, IGP National Security to arrest their the self-acclaimed chief Nii Akwanor iv and his son Nii Moshey for allegedly forging document to register Ashalaja Family Land at Land Commission.
Jonathan Nii Ackaah Mintah says, the self-styled chief has installed his own biological son Nii Moshey at Ashalaja and creating confusing in Ashalaja.
Nananom called on IGP to arrest and prosecute the self-styled Chief Nii Akwanor iv and his son Nii Moshey for creating tension in Ashalaja township.
HEAD OF FAMILY
Gyasehene of Ashalaja Jonathan Mintah also denied the allegations that, Solomon Mintah Ackaah is not the head of the Akwanor Royal Family.
He said, Solomon Mintah Ackaah is the legitimate head of Akwanor Royal Family until court final judgement.
