The Acting President of NgleshieAlata Traditional Council of Jamestown, NiiArmahKwaofio II, has drawn the attention of Ministry of Chieftaincy and the security agencies of an existing installed chief in the person of NiiAhumaKojo III as the Chief of James town.
The acting president in a letter dated 4th October copied to the minister of chieftaincy affairs and all the security agencies said NiiAhumahKojo III was validly nominated, elected and installed as the NgleshieAlata Chief.
All traditions and customarily rites have been done for NiiAhumaKojo III and upon which he has sworn an oath to the Stool.
The letter to the Chieftaincy Ministry and the security agencies followed his investigation as the Acting President with regards to the NgleshieAlataMantse, thus NgleshieAlata Paramount Chiefs position.
After the demise of the NgleshieAlata Paramount Chief, OblempongNiiKojoAbabio V, OblempongNiiAhumaKojo III was installed to succeed him 29th IOctober,2018.
NiiAhumaKojo III has been validly nominated, elected and installed as the NgleshieAlata Chief. All traditions and customarily rites have been done for NiiAhumaKojo III and upon which he has sworn an oath to the Stool.
“I am by this letter informing all agencies that NgleshieAlata has installed a paramount chief with the title and status OblempongNiiAhumaKojo III, known in private life as Henry NunooKoppoe.’ The statement concluded.
