Information gathered from the Lands Commission shows that lands to individuals by the Okyehene are not in their system.
Sources say that but for recent banta between KOANS Building Solutions and Okyehene, more people would have been a victim of their criminal act.
A staff of KOANS Building Solutions, Prince Obeng told this Reporter the current worry by the land buyers has fully exposed the criminalities of the Okyehene.
“We didn’t know of this truth for of these while we thought Okyehene had a legal title which can be registered not knowing they were deceiving people” he stated.
“For years, the Okyehene and his land guards have been deceiving the public of their title to the said lands through the false allodia title ownership until Apedwa and KOANS came out boldly to open our eyes” Mr. Obeng disclosed.
He disclosed that Okyehene had sold over 1500 acres of lands to individuals and organizations without proper documents from the Lands commission.
According to him factories like Sunshine Tomatoes at Teacher Mante and Glofert are all in danger because their registration falls within the property of KOANS Building Solutions Limited. Mr. Obeng further stated that Okyehene through one Bashiru went quietly to the Chief EXecutive Officer of KOANS some time back to get these documents regularized for these people but managengemt of the said company refused them.
“Individuals like Mr Paul, Martin Atabi of NSAWAM, just to mention but few have seen their documents been cancelled by the the judgement from the KOANS after their official approach to the management of the company.
He also said people are currently threatening police and court action against the said Okyehene and if care is not taken to rescue the situation he (the Chief) might end up in jail in some days.
“Most of lands have been fully registered by land owners rendering that of the Okyehene impossible.
A reliable sources indicates that Most of these lands have been rather registered by KOANSE” Mr. Obeng hinted.
He informed that the new Land Act shows that it becomes a criminal offence to sell a land which title you don’t have that is where the danger lies on the part of Okyehene and his Land guards.
“It is believed that the said Chief and his land guards have sold so many of the said plots to people with proper documents from the lands commission.
Clients are deceived to pay huge sums of money with the understanding that they can register their lands at the Commission after getting a document for Okyehene who claims to be the over Lord only for their documents to be returned by the lands commission” he disclosed.
